Varian baru Xperia kembali muncul, Xperia Halon. Produk besutan Sony Ericsson yang mengusung sistem operasi Android ini bukan ponsel 4G. Ia baru mendukung teknologi HSDPA (3,5G).

Untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja Sony Ericsson membenamkan OS Android 2.3 Gingerbread, prosesorQualcomm MSM7630 Snapdragon dan CPU 1GHz Scorpion, serta GPU Adreno 205. Memiliki RAM 512 MB , smartphone ini secara teknis memang nyaman untuk aktivitas multitasking

Layar Halon juga relatif lebih baik. Memiliki display layar sentuh FWVGA dengan resolusi 480x854 piksel, ia didukung oleh teknonologi Bravia. Secara teknis, display yang ada memang mumpuni.

Kamera 8 mega piksel dengan sentor backlit Exmor R, cukup nyaman untuk mengambil foto atau video dengan format 720p dengan kecepatan perekaman gambar hingga 30 frame per detik. Kamera autofokus ini memiliki flash LED.

Memori internalnya 300 Mb. Untuk penyimpanan bisa ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan kartu memori. Halon mendukung kartu memori berkapasitas hingga 32 GB.
